The Sixth "China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week”-"Chinese Bridge" -Thailand Principals’ Visiting Tour to Colorful Guizhou has been successfully organized

From Sep.16th to 22nd, 2013, our college has successfully organized "Chinese Bridge" -Thailand Principals’ Visiting Tour to Colorful Guizhou, which is one of the fourteen events of The Sixth "China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week”.

The whole week of zero distance contact and communication between our college and the Thai delegation, has finally resulted in the agreement on Memorandum of Understanding between Guizhou Normal College, Guiyang No.2 High School, Guiayng Jiaxiu Primary School and the Thai delegation respectively.

Li Cunxiong, president of Guizhou Normal College, has signed Memorandum of Understanding with six vocational and technical colleges of the Thai delegation, which are Chonbori Technologi College, Krabi Technical College, Phetchaburi Vocational College, Phetchaboon Vocational College, Chiangrai Vocational College and Lampang Vocational College.

Leng Feng, vice principal of Guiyang No.2 High School, has signed Memorandum of Understanding with eight high schools of the Thai delegation, which are Benchamarachalai School, KokkrathiemWitthaya School, Pibulrakpitthaya School, Navamin Trachinuthid Triamudom Suksa Pattanakarn School, Tarue Pitayakom School, Surasakmontree School, Kuladiswiittayanusorn school and Wat Narapirom School.

Wang Wei, headmaster of Guiyang Jiaxiu Primary School, has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with five primary schools of the Thai delegation, which are Kuladiswiittayanusorn school, Jintue Kaeng Khol School, Sirinchristian Phchaboon School, Muangphetchabun School and Wat Narapirom School.

“Thanks to great support from Department of Education of Guizhou Province and passionate participation of all the experts and scholars, the event was concluded with abundant accomplishments”, quoted from speech given by President Li Cunxiong on the closing ceremony.

In order to give a better understanding of the beautiful scenery, colorful and unique culture as well as the state of education of Guizhou to the Thai guests, our college arranged four communication forums, a lecture, three education excursions including three different levels which are university, high school and primary school, two evening parties and three field excursions, wishing to promote the educational communication and cooperation between Guizhou and Thailand now and in the future.

Thanks to Hanban(Confucius Institute of Headquarters) and Department of Education of Guizhou Province, whose trust and support has given a great opportunity to Guizhou Normal College to get close to  ASEAN, and to make a contribution to education of Guizhou.

Facing the new development of education internationalization, Guizhou Normal College is getting involved in international academic communication and cooperation with open attitude and enthusiasm. We will further education cooperation with ASEAN in substantive terms on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, and advance institutional building for cooperation that meets long-term needs as called for. The China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week has definitely become a strategic platform for Guizhou and ASEAN to strengthen coordination, promote cooperation and pursue common development in education.
