New Progress Made in the Research Field of the Double Pulsar System

Yang Yiyan, a young teacher from School  of Physics and Electronic Science of our university, published a paper titled Similarity of PSR J1906+0746 to PSR J0737–3039: a Candidate of a New Double Pulsar System? in the internationally top-notch astroastronomy journal The Astrophysical Journal(Astrophysical Class One, SCI division of Chinese Academy of Sciences) based on his related researches on the formation theory of Double Pulsar System, with Yang Yiyan being the first author, Prof. Linghu Rongfeng and Prof. Zhou Zhuwen the main contributors. This paper was supported by Prof. Linghu Rongfeng’s NSFC(Natural Science Foundation of China) program and Prof. Zhou Zhuwen’s Guizhou Theoretical Physics Teaching Team Project.
