56 teams from 31 countries and autonomous regions, including Germany, France, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Canada, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Macau, participated in all the competitions of the world rope skipping championships in Shanghai University of Finance and Economics stadium on July 24, 2018. The star jump rope team of Guizhou Education University won the qualification to represent China to participate in the world jump rope championship. To better prepare for the world championships, the star jumping rope team of Guizhou Education University began training seven times a week in September 2017, without weekends and holidays.

After the official kick-off on July 25, the students in our school performed normal training without being afraid of strong hand composure, and finally won the team event: silver medal in 4x30 single wave relay event, and bronze medal in 4x45 cross rope relay event. Two people participated in the individual projects as follows: the second prize, the tenth prize in 30 seconds, the third prize and the sixth prize in 3 minutes, the second prize in individual pattern and the sixth prize in individual pattern.

The team of Guizhou Education University won the group project "one silver and one bronze", and the individual project "three silver and one bronze, one sixth" in this world rope skipping championships, showing the excellent achievements of our university in carrying out sunshine sports.
