Our University Performed Well in the First "Ding DIng" National College Foreign Language Writing Competition

The first "Ding DIng" National College Foreign Language Writing Competition, which lasted for nearly three months, has come to an end. The competition attracted more than 3,000 teams from colleges and universities across the country to compete online, and 60 teams won the gold, silver and bronze awards. The teachers and students of the School of Foreign Languages of our university have made great achievements, winning one "Bronze Team" and one "Excellent Team", as well as many individual student awards and outstanding advisor awards

This contest is an online foreign language writing contest co-sponsored by NJTU and CNJTU, covering college students nationwide. The School of Foreign Languages organized more than 5,000 students to take part in the competition in order to improve their English writing skills, train their English application ability and show their elegant demeanor.


We’ve organized more than 40 teachers and more than 10 teams, including college English learners and English majors. Even during the epidemic period, the advisors overcome the inconvenience brought by network guidance and insisted on instructing students to constantly revise and improve their compositions. With the joint efforts of all teachers and students, the team led by Chen Jie and Shi Chu Yu broke through from more than 3,000 colleges and universities and won the "bronze medal Team" award. The team led by Zhang Yang, Zeng Yu, Zhang Lowen, Deng Zhou and Zhan Jing ranked top 20% and won the "Excellent Team" award. More than one hundred excellent compositions have been selected, and students have won individual award and Excellent Teacher Award.
