On July 1, the Youth League Committee of our university organized young volunteers to go to Yun Jin Shang City, Wudang District, the resettlement place for poverty alleviation, and carried out the "New citizen · Dream Bridge" Activity. Luo Rong and Zhang Yuan, deputy secretaries of the Youth League Committee, Zhang Weiyu, director of Social Practice Department, Yu Junmei, head of the office, and more than 20 children from the poverty-relief camp participated in this activity. The volunteer service group is composed of six students from the Faculty of Education, Yaxia Zhou, Tang Sha, Yang Yu and Yuan qinglin, Xue jinrun and Yu hanxiang.

Since the event was held on the 99th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party, the whole event was organized around "patriotic education". The volunteers cultivate the children’s love for the motherland and hometown from the symbol and structure of the national flag, national emblem and colorful Guizhou ethnic culture and heroic deeds.

Afterwards, the volunteers further deepened the children's love for the motherland and yearning for a better life through paper-cutting, painting and other activities. The whole activity was enjoyable. Children asked when the volunteers could come again. Many parents also thanked them.

The activity of "New Citizen · Dream Bridge" lasted for one year. In the future, the league committee will continue to give full play to the advantages of the Communist Youth League in poverty alleviation and organize various kinds of volunteers to carry out rich cultural activities in the poverty alleviation relocation areas.
