On December 17, the closing ceremony of Guizhou Education University 2021“Zhi & Xing Guizhou”Silk Road Youth Exchange Programme, sponsored by Education Department of Guizhou Province and The Secretariat of Organizing Committee of CAECW and organized by Guizhou Education University, was held in the Shanshui Hall of Yinshan Academy of our university. Wei Wei, the president of our university, attended the ceremony. Relevant leaders from the School Youth League Committee, the Publicity Department, the Education Network Center, the School of Literature and Media, the School of Physical Education and all the staff of the Office of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation and more than 200 outstanding students from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan, Nepal and other countries, young party cadres, young entrepreneurs and teachers and students representatives of our school attended the ceremony.
Director Zhang Yao summarized the activity from four aspects: project application, preparatory process, activity content and activity effectiveness. She said under the unified leadership of the university, relevant departments and secondary colleges participated in, actively cooperated with each other and performed their respective duties, and successfully completed all activities. Through the implementation of this project, the dialogue and understanding between Chinese youth and the youth of "One Belt and One Road" countries has been deepened, the high-quality curriculum resources of Chinese education of our school has been optimized, the "circle of friends" of our school has been expanded, and the further contact and in-depth cooperation between us and the universities of "one Belt and One Road" countries has been laid down.
Zhou Maoyuan, the student representative of the School of Literature and Media, gave a speech. She explained her harvest and perception during the five-day courses. She said that the program was short but substantial and fruitful, which built a bridge for communication between our students and the youth of "One Belt and One Road" countries. She also expressed her gratitude to the school and all the teachers.
President Wei Wei awarded the certificate of completion to the student representatives and delivered the closing speech. First of all, she thanked the provincial Department of Education for their trust, congratulated all the students on the successful completion of the program, and thanked all the departments and colleges for the elaborate organization of this activity. She stressed that this program set up a platform for the Chinese and foreign youth, young friends from different countries experienced in Guizhou culture, and made the friends. The successful holding of the activity further expanded the form and field of our education opening to the outside world; At the same time, I also hope that the young students at home and abroad can give more suggestions. They can take back the good memories and friendship of this exchange program, share them with their families and friends, and be good ambassadors of Chinese culture, as well as a bond of friendly exchanges between the people of their host countries and the people of Guizhou.
