Security and Safeguard Department was set up in August, 2001, composed of three administrative offices: Public Security Office, Fire Protection Office and Household Administration Office. At present, there are 9 permanent staff in the department, among whom 2 are directors and 6 CPC members, 5 with bachelor’s degrees and 4 with three-year college degrees.

The department has developed and promoted a series of effective measures and systems on security and safeguard since its establishment. Guided by Party Committee, administrative leaders and its higher organs at Guizhou Education University, and centering around the working philosophy of “providing human-oriented service to all staff and students”, the department has been and will continue implementing in all directions various kinds of security and safeguard measures and systems so as to guarantee the college’s reform and development and maintain its safety and stability.
