General Information

Guizhou Experimental High School, subjected to Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, is a provincial level key and model high school. The school was founded in 1944 with its former names successively being National Wartime High School of Guizhou, National Guizhou High school, Private Zhongshan High School of Guiyang, Guiyang No. 20 High School, The Experimental High School Attached to Guizhou Education University, and was recognized as nowadays Guizhou Experimental High School in April, 2009.

Since its establishment, the school has always been persisting on the direction “to develop school based on school culture and to nurture people through school spirit”, upholding the principle “to foster contemporary citizens and to undertake responsibility for the country” and carrying forward the fine tradition “to devote to teaching career and enjoy company so as to mould morality and inspire wisdom”. Under the guidance of school motto “to practice unremitting self-improvement and philosophical outlook”, the school, as inclusive and receptive as the ocean, calls for drawing upon the strength of others. It has accomplished proud achievement and formed distinguished school culture and spirit embodied in striving for excellence and has manifested its unique school-running characteristics stressing on “experimental innovation, all-round development, respect for life and open education”.
