General Information

There are 30 teachers in the School of Physics and Electronic Science, 11 of whom have senior professional titles. 3 members of the faculty have got doctorates and 17 teachers have received masters. At present the school has set two undergraduate majors of Physics and Electronic Information Science and Technology and two specialized majors of Physical Education and Electronic Information Engineering Technology. The school has been cultivated undergraduates and junior college students for 22 years, many of whom have become excellent teachers and leaders of the local party and government departments and educational departments and made great contributions to the basic education in Guizhou Province.

Physics Major (undergraduate education)

Main courses: Higher Mathematics, Mechanics, Calorifics, Electromagnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, Basic Physic Experiment, Lab of Modern Physics, Theoretical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Pedagogy, Physics Teaching Theory

Training objective: this major aims at training the senior talents featuring an overall development of morality, intelligence, physique and art with innovatory spirit and ability, who can grasp the basic theories, basic knowledge and basic skills of physics and are qualified for physical teaching and research.

Electronic Information Science and Technology Major (undergraduate education)

Main courses: Higher Mathematics, College Physics, Digital Electronic Technology, High-Frequency Electronic Circuit, Signals and Systems, Optical-fiber Communications, Communication Theory, DSP - Digital Signal Processing, Digital Picture Processing, Fundamentals of Mono-Chip Computers, EDA technology, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

Training objective: this major intends to cultivate the senior specialized engineering talents with basic professional knowledge of electronic technology and information processing and skills of designing, developing and applying integrated electronic equipment and information systems, who can engage in the research, design and application of various electronic equipment and information systems with their primary ability of doing research, developing new systems and technology.
