The college has three teaching departments, namely fine arts department, design department and digital media department. Currently, the college has three undergraduate majors, namely fine arts, digital media art and product design, and has established more than 10 off-campus art practice bases.
The college of fine arts and design currently has a university-level key support discipline design, and the construction direction of the master's program: ethnic art and design art, southwest minority craft design research center, fine arts workstation of famous primary and secondary school teachers in Guizhou province, and Nie Sen's studio of famous teachers and other teaching and research platforms.
