At 8:30 in the morning, the opening ceremony of the 6th sports festival of Guizhou Education University was held on time, all the faculty and students carrys the GEU spirit in practice. Hu Rui, the director of the office for physical health in the provincial department of education, Yan Wei, the assistant researcher, all the school leaders, heads of departments and colleges, representatives of teachers, students and retired staff attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Huang Weiming, the dean of the department of physical education. Each square represented every school, square members entered the stadium with the fiery music beats in neat steps, they were shouting slogans, changing their square shapes, and performing with their biggest passion. After the enter of all the squares, there comes a national flag raising ceremony, then Yu Zhongmin, the president of GEU made a speech, the judge representative took an oath, and Shi Peixin, the party secretary of GEU officially announced the opening of the sports festival. At last, the opening ceremony performance pushed the atmosphere to a climax. Programs includes Feeding Frenzy, Fancy Rope Skipping, Cheerleading, Dancesport, Three Lions Report Good News, Taekwondo. After the opening ceremony, the competitions began. In the two days of competition, teachers and students athletes will pursue their dreams of playing field, and fully display the charm and elegant demeanor of competitive sports.
