On the afternoon of November 9th, the School of Foreign Languages held the opening ceremony of the international students of Guizhou Education University. Yu Zhongming, President of Guizhou Education University; Guo Wen, vice President; Zhang Yao, director of foreign exchange and cooperation; Tao Xiuzhu, vice director; Xiong Shihuan, dean of academic affairs; Wei Dan, secretary of the party committee of the college of literature and media; Zhao Desu, dean of the school of continuing education; and Zhang Ting, secretary of the school's youth league committee attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Yu Xuejun, dean of the school of foreign languages and director of the office of international education college (planning). The opening ceremony was attended by teachers of the school of foreign languages, all international students, language partners (volunteers) of international students and student representatives.

     In 2018, our university welcomed 46 new students from Mongolia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and other countries. The school of foreign languages has opened a variety of language courses and Chinese culture and talent courses for international students, which not only enable them to learn Chinese well, but also enable them to fully experience Chinese culture and have an in-depth understanding of Guizhou and China.
