In order to effectively promote the application of the 2020 Western Region Program of CSC, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation organized a video conference on April 24, which was attended by more than 20 deans and teachers of secondary colleges

First of all, Zhang Yao, director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, shared with the deans the application and admission situation of our school over the years, as well as the problems in the progress of the project. Subsequently, the heads of secondary colleges also made exchanges on the application situation and difficulties encountered in their implementation of CSC programs. They all mentioned the problems: the foreign language proficiency of teachers, difficulties in contact with invitation letters and the lack of enthusiasm of teachers to apply.

During the Conference, teachers who gained the scholarship in 2017 and 2018 are also invited to share their successful experience, including the application process, the application materials, funding policies and their life of study abroad. Both of them said that the overseas study experience was really helpful for their teaching, scientific research level and international vision improvement.

At last, Zhang Yao made the overall arrangement for the application work of CSC programs in 2020, and required all colleges to attach great importance to the project to achieve new breakthroughs in the successful application of CSC programs of our University.
