July 14 afternoon, Provincial Science and Technology Department organized 2021 provincial scientific and technological talents and foreign experts work (training) conference, leaders of each cities (states) and Science and Technology Bureau of Gui An New District and relevant departments, provincial universities, research institutes and enterprises took part in the training. Provincial department of science and Technology Party group member, deputy director Qin Shuijie attended the meeting, deputy director of foreign experts department (science and technology personnel department) Xiong Ya attended the meeting, the meeting was presided over by Shi Lei, director of foreign experts department (science and technology personnel department). Zhang Yao, director of the Department of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation, and other relevant staff attended the training meeting.

First of all, Qin shuijie made a brief summary of the current work of our province's scientific and technological talents and foreign experts, and put forward the requirements of the next stage of the work of scientific and technological talents and foreign experts. Qin Shuijie further emphasized the importance of the work of scientific and technological talents and foreign experts. 2021 is the first year of the 14th Five-year Plan. The work of scientific and technological talents and foreign experts should be innovative, systematic, collaborative and effective, and more closely adhere to the central work to serve innovation-driven development. Through the joint efforts of all parties, we will strive to make science and technology a stronger voice in the work related to talents, give better play to the role of talents in self-improvement and self-reliance in science and technology, and provide strong intellectual support for high-quality development.

Then, Shi Lei made the deployment of the current work, and put forward the work requirements. Xiong Ya gave a detailed description of the application requirements and procedures for the national Foreign expert project in 2021. Liu Yi, director of foreign Affairs Office of Guiyang Science and Technology Bureau, conducted special business training on the approval of work permit for foreigners in China.

The content of this training conference was detailed and concrete, which expanded the ideas of scientific and technological talents and foreign experts' work, and played a good role in guiding our university to fully mobilize the advantages of domestic and foreign resources and strengthen the cooperation of international scientific and technological talents in the future.
