On the afternoon of March 20th, the opening ceremony of the "Chinese as Bridge, Qian Travel Along the Road" Chinese Bridge Group exchange program sponsored by the Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education was held successfully. Panseong-zhong, President of Thailand-China Education Group, and Zhang Yao, Director of the Department of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation attended the event and delivered speeches.Dr. Wang Taiwei, professor of School of Literature and Media, Wan Yilin, director of Department of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation, and 115 online students attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Yang Bo, Dean of the School of Literature and Media.
First, all the staff watched the propaganda video of Guizhou Education University. Afterwards, Zhang Yao welcomed the participants in her speech and briefly introduced the history of the school, talent training and international exchanges.It is hoped that all the students can cherish this rare learning opportunity, feel the profound Chinese culture and colorful customs of Guizhou, and make contributions to strengthening cultural exchanges, language cooperation and mutual learning of civilizations between China and other countries.
In his speech, Pan Chengzhong expressed the hope that the students could study hard, improve their Chinese expression ability and become envoys of cultural exchanges. Wang Taiwei, the teacher representative, introduced the course content and activity arrangement, hoping that students can master more knowledge of Chinese language through "Chinese Bridge", feel the beauty of Chinese and Guizhou culture, and be the narrator and disseminator of Chinese stories.Ping Zhenling and Zhang Zhaohong, the representatives of the students from Thailand, spoke respectively. They said that they were very honored to have the opportunity to participate in this activity and share their Chinese learning experience. They would definitely learn more about Chinese language and culture through this activity.
This activity is the first "Chinese Bridge" online group exchange program that our university has applied to the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education and has been approved. There are a total of 18 courses in the program, which consists of 12 live lectures and 4 recorded lectures.The project team has designed various forms of Chinese language courses and cultural experience courses for overseas students. The course content is rich and the teaching design is novel, which helps international students acquire the language ability to study and live in China, improve their understanding of Chinese culture, especially the regional culture of Guizhou, cultivate and enhance their interest in studying in Guizhou, and strengthen the communication and cooperation between Chinese and foreign languages and cultures. Enhance mutual learning among different cultures in the world.
