Shi Peixin, Secretary of the Party Committee of our school and Wei Wei, the principal, attended the opening ceremony of 2024 China-ASEAN Educational Exchange Week

On the morning of August 21, the opening ceremony of the 2024 China-ASEAN Educational Exchange Week jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Guizhou Provincial People's Government was held at the permanent venue of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week in Gui'an New Area, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. Party secretary Shi Peixin and Principal Wei Wei were invited to attend.

 

2024 is the "China-ASEAN Humanities Exchange Year". With humanistic exchanges as the core, a series of activities are carried out around the theme of "deepening education cooperation, promoting humanistic exchanges, and creating the future together". This exchange week will focus on the new achievements of China-ASEAN in education and cooperation. At the same time, it will further enrich the connotation of the exchange week, broaden the extension of the humanistic project, to better serve humanistic exchanges, deepen educational cooperation, and promote regions Economic and social development. The holding of this event is not only a positive practice of the concept of openness, but also an important measure to continue to expand its high levels of opening up. With the help of the communication week, education as a bridge and bond will be fully played. The open Guizhou is working with ASEAN to move towards a larger, wider field, deeper, and higher level of exchanges and cooperation.

 

During the opening period of the 2024 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week, our university will host the "Fourth China-ASEAN (International) 'RoboMaster' Robot Challenge", undertake the "China-ASEAN Special Education International Conference" and the "China-ASEAN Art Exhibition of Special Children and Teenagers", and will host the year-round project of the exchange week - the China-ASEAN Music and Dance Education Forum.

 

The school will take this China-ASEAN International Exchange Week as an opportunity to fully utilize the advantages of multiple characteristic platforms such as the national-level "Chinese language education base" and innovation and entrepreneurship education. Relying on the profound background of normal universities and the distinctive characteristics of teacher education, it will further deepen the connections with universities in countries along the "Belt and Road". By integrating superior resources and highlighting regional characteristics, it will create influential project brands. Through deepening cultural exchanges and mutual learning, it will build a new highland for cultural dissemination and exchanges.

 

It is reported that about 70 activities will be held during the 2024 exchange week. Among them, 40 parallel project activities will be held during the opening period, inviting more than 4,000 guests and representatives, among which more than 1,000 are expected to be foreign guests.
