On the morning of December 3, 2025, the cooperation signing ceremony between Guizhou Education University and the Pantheon Institute of Design and Technology, Italy, was held in the Shangu Lecture Hall of Yinshan Academy. Representatives from both institutions and heads of relevant departments attended the ceremony, jointly witnessing this significant moment.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Zhao Shouying, Member of the University Party Standing Committee and Vice President (at the departmental level) of Guizhou Education University, delivered a welcome speech. On behalf of the university, he extended a warm welcome to the friends from Italy and expressed sincere gratitude for the efforts made by both teams in facilitating the cooperation. Zhao Shouying pointed out that Guizhou Education University always adheres to an open approach in education and actively promotes internationalization. The Pantheon Institute of Design and Technology, Italy enjoys a high reputation in the fields of design and technology education, and its innovative concepts and remarkable achievements are admirable. This collaboration is not only a symbol of friendship between the two institutions but also a new starting point for mutual development.

Subsequently, attendees watched the international promotion video of Guizhou Education University, which further enhanced the Italian representatives’ understanding of the university’s educational features and developmental achievements.

Manuel Ortega Díaz, Head of Development and External Affairs at the Pantheon Institute of Design and Technology, Italy, expressed high expectations for the cooperation in his remarks. He stated that the complementary strengths of the two institutions in fields such as fine arts, design, and technological innovation will provide a broader international exchange platform for students and faculty, advancing Sino-Italian educational cooperation to new heights.

Witnessed by all attendees, representatives from both sides formally signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. This signing marks a key step in Guizhou Education University’s strategy to deepen international educational initiatives.

The implementation of this cooperation will not only open a window for our students to the forefront of global design and technology but also inject sustained momentum into educational and cultural exchanges between China and Italy. In the future, both sides will work together to translate the agreement into practical collaboration, opening a new chapter in cooperation and contributing to the cultivation of outstanding international talent.
