On October 27, the School of Foreign Languages of Guizhou Education University held a cooperation promotion meeting with a delegation from the School of Educational Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia, led by Professor Rohaya Abdullah. The meeting took place in the Landscape Lecture Hall of Yinshan Academy. Attendees included Professor Rohaya Abdullah and Professor Aswati Hamzah, both doctoral supervisors from the School of Educational Studies, USM; designer Noorhayati Mamur and chief secretary Nurhaniza binti Mohd Noor from the same school; Zhao Shouying, Member of the University Party Standing Committee and Vice President (at the departmental level) of Guizhou Education University; Zhang Bin, Deputy Director of the International Office ; Yan Xingcheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages; Luo Yong, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages; as well as the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Party Committee Member, and Head of the English Department of the School of Foreign Languages. The meeting was presided over by Qian Jinfeng, Director of the Party-Administration Office of the School of Foreign Languages.

In his address, Zhao Shouying extended a warm welcome to Professor Rohaya Abdullah and the delegation from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He introduced the disciplines, scale, and cooperative education initiatives of Guizhou Education University. He expressed earnest expectations for future collaboration between the School of Foreign Languages and USM in areas such as cooperative education programs, faculty and student exchanges, and scientific research cooperation.

Professor Rohaya Abdullah expressed sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality of Guizhou Education University. She looked forward to achieving fruitful outcomes in academic exchanges and faculty development, and to further deepening cross-cultural exchanges between the two institutions. She also expressed hope for a reciprocal visit from Guizhou Education University to Malaysia in the future.

During the meeting, Zhao Shouying presented a special appointment certificate to Professor Rohaya Abdullah. Zhang Bin and Professor Aswati Hamzah exchanged gifts.
