Department of Development Planning (or DDP for short) led by Party Committee is a functional department that carries out policy research and demonstration, policy-making consulting, development planning related to the college’s development.

The department is responsible for the following issues: to study the development of the school; to draft its medium and long term development plans; to complete specialized planning of teaching and scientific research as well as constructions of disciplines, faculty and campus culture in cooperation with the relevant departments; to provide supervision, inspection and guidance during the process of implementing plans; to collect and collate the current information about the situation of higher education development at home and abroad; to give advice on policy making of the college, etc.

The department is made up of Office of Development Planning and Research Centre of Zhejiang University’s Westward Move.
